So many tries, so many layers! The artist had an image and a technique in mind that she absolutely wanted to implement. But nothing worked. Yes, that also happens to established artists. After three unsuccessful attempts and many many layers of paint, the artist left the picture hanging for several days and then spontaneously decided to continue working on it and finally to follow her very personal, inner call, her technique, the flow. This resulted in a complex picture, rich in colour, structure and ultimately also feelings and thoughts! The backgrounds see through the new construct and therefore accurately reflect their course of creation. A call to have the courage to follow your own path. Always.
