Ein zarter, sommerlicher Hintergrund, der nur die Bühne für ein überbordendes Blütenmeer, ein Strauß, den sich jede Frau nur wünschen würde. Und doch ist kein Blumenstrauß, keine Blüten im engeren Sinne, die hier die Sinne betören, auch wenn man meint, die Blütendüfte fast wahrnehmen zu können. Es ist ein altes und doch modernes Werk, das die Künstlerin hier geschaffen hat. Es erinnert an frühe Inszenierungen der Stillleben alter Meister, die genau wussten, wie man die Schönheit der Natur in Szene setzen konnte und musste und doch sind es die Farben, die Technik, die Pinselstriche, die Kratzer in der noch feuchten Farbe, die Graphitlinien, die uns in die heutige Zeit versetzen. Und doch blühen und tanzen die Blüten und Farben über das gesamte Bild, fast kann man das geschäftige Summen der Bienen hören. Eine helle, fröhliche Gesamtkomposition, die einen umgehend in ihren Bann zieht.
 
A delicate summerlike background that builds the stage for an exuberant sea of flowers, a bouquet that every woman would dream of. And yet there is no bouquet of flowers, no flowers in the narrow sense, which beguile the senses here, even if one thinks that one can almost perceive the flower scents. It is an ancient yet modern work that the artist has created here. It is reminiscent of early dramatization of still lifes of old masters, who knew exactly how to stage the beauty of nature and yet it’s the colors, the technique, the expressive brushstrokes, the scratches in the still damp colour, the graphite lines that take us into the present day. The flowers and colors bloom and dance over the whole canvas, you can almost hear the bustling buzz of the bees. A bright, cheerful overall composition that immediately captivates you.
